The coffee is good, but nothing special. Service very nice and courteous. Cake etc. also good. The atmosphere is a bit hectic, which is less due to the cafe and more to the location. 9/10 from me. Recommendation: yes

This is Erfurt's jewel-like cafe. It's a very narrow neighborhood where you can drink ice coffee, and Starbucks at the Central Station is narrow, so it's not easy to kill yourself at a cafe, but I'm glad to know Epitome. We sell coffee of quality that doesn't make much difference between specialty coffee roasters in Berlin or Munich, and coffee with ice. It is located in front of the city hall square, so it is also fun to drink coffee and see the scenery outside the window. The table is small and it is uncomfortable to have to ask the staff to go to the bathroom, but overall it is a very good café because of the friendly and good service. Epitome is a really wonder in Erfurt. I used to enjoy the coffee from specialty coffee roasters in Berlin and Munich, the cafe serves great quality coffee as well. The staff are very friendly and the service is also nice. Downsides are the small tables, wifi-network and accessibility to toilet. But still, it's a wonderful place in front of the beautiful historical Rathaus. I would definitely recommend this cafe to everyone who visit Erfurt.

The cappuccino was very good. However, I feel that € 5.90 for a relatively small panini is really excessive. Otherwise, however, nice service and a beautiful outdoor area.

Coffee is extremely good, everything is very expensive. Nice ambience, nice dishes, tiny tables and uncomfortable chairs.

One of the best, if not the best, place for coffee lovers. A huge selection of different coffee beans. Friendly staff and above all competent staff. Despite the increased price, which of course you are happy to accept for enjoyment, always happy to go there!

The coffee is delicious, unfortunately impossibly expensive. The music is way too loud, even after several inquiries the music was not turned down, could hardly understand my grandma, with whom I wanted to have a coffee. The chairs were way too hard and the cake was unfortunately very small for the price. The aprons of the waitresses looked very shabby and dirty, not at all matching the otherwise clean image of the coffee. A loo would have been nice too, I have never experienced that there is no toilet in a coffee shop: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend D: /

The first Specialty Cafe in Erfurt! A real asset! The self-roasted beans do not quite come close to the level of other top roasters in Germany, but they beat everything else you get in Erfurt by far

The best coffee in the city in my opinion, served by the attentive and super nice team. Perfect for a relaxed break. Also try: the brownie, the banana bread, the cakes .... Delicious!

I can not understand the good reviews, maybe because everyone is just drinking the coffee with sugar and cream or maybe we were unlucky with the roasting of the day, at least the espresso was acidic and watery. I have rarely tried such a bad coffee. A point for the nice service.

By far the best coffee Ive been able to find in Germany and most of Europe. Food is decent too. Unfortunately the soy coffees arent as creamy as back home but bonsoy isnt available here and its still well above anywhere else

Good coffee and the only place that makes a legit brownie in Erfurt! It's like a crack brownie it's so good! Cramped quarters but it's a cafe that would be at home in NYC. Because the quality is higher expect to pay a little more but worth it!

XXL cappuccino and salmon panini and the day is perfect! The staff is friendly and chilled, the background music selected! Here I am and can not help it .. Suuperleckeres banana bread ...

Great location, cute interior and nice packaging. My only criticism is that they should revisit what a flat white is. It’s not supposed to come in a latte cup and to say: ‘well, that’s how we make it’ is just a silly comment to make.
